Your home page
What you land on: what's next, who's around, and a peek at everything else. It's a digest, not a feed.
Home is the front door. It answers one question, "what do I need to know right now", and then gets out of the way. There's nothing to scroll forever here.
What it holds
- What's next: the event or trip closest to happening, up top, with the practical details.
- This week in your city: with nothing coming up yet and a home city Joinue covers, home shows a row of real nights around town you can just show up to, picked first from the interests you chose. See all opens the full list of Regulars.
- Invites waiting on you, so an unanswered RSVP doesn't sit unnoticed in a notification list. In the app with Joinue's notifications turned off on your phone, an invite says so, with Open Settings to turn them back on, or Stop showing this if you meant it.
- Who's around: your people who've lit a flare, and on a phone, the flame to light your own.
- Events in your Orbit: when someone in your Orbit is hosting something you can come to and aren't on yet, the soonest one is named here, with See all for the rest.
- Around you: two doors into your city, the Explore map and your Metro Pulse.
- A peek at Signals: the newest few items, one line each. Opening Signals itself is what marks them read.
- Nudges: the small, dismissible prompts (an unfinished draft, a recap worth writing, a game you left half-played).
- Anything you unlocked recently, like a new badge.
The create button (the plus in the middle of the bottom bar on a phone, or Create at the top of the side menu on a computer) starts anything. It opens on two shelves: Make plans (Create event, Create trip, Align plans) and Quick actions (Post to Signals, New conversation, Find people, Create space).
On a phone, the plus follows the section you're in and starts that section's own thing straight away: Find people on Orbit, a new post on Signals, New conversation on Talk, and a new event, trip, or Space in those sections. On the calendar it narrows to Align plans, Create event, and Create trip. On Play it becomes a play button that offers the games: bowling, darts, cornhole, a scoreboard, or a bracket. On a computer, Create in the side menu always offers everything, and pressing C from anywhere opens it.
