Run a tournament with Brackets
Build a bracket for any game, add players, and run it through to a champion.
Brackets turns any game into a tournament. Set it up once and it runs the matchups, the advancement, and the standings for you.
- 1From Play, open Brackets and tap Create bracket.
- 2Name it, pick the game, and choose a format: single elimination, double elimination, round robin, or Swiss.
- 3Add players from your Orbit, then start it.
- 4Report each match result as you go. The bracket advances the winners and crowns a champion at the end.
Running a cornhole or darts tournament? Score those matches with the built-in scorer and the result feeds the bracket automatically. Everything else you enter by hand.
Who reports the scores
A bracket runs across everyone's phones, so the scorekeeping doesn't have to pile onto one person. You choose how much you hand over:
- Host only: you and your co-hosts enter every result.
- Players report: either player can post their match, and it stands.
- Players report, both confirm: a player's result waits until the other side agrees. You can always settle it yourself, for the match whose loser has already gone home.
