Check in at the event
Tap I'm here when you arrive so the room knows who made it. Quiet by design: it pushes nobody.
If you said Going or Maybe, an I'm here button shows on the event from an hour before it starts until two hours after it ends. Tap it when you arrive. Changed your mind? Tap Undo.
Who sees it follows the event's guest list setting, and the line under the button says exactly who that is before you tap. The hosts always see it. Once three or more people have checked in, the event shows how many are here now.
On a public event, checking in also offers Light a flare here, one tap to tell your Orbit where you are. See Flares.
Check-in isn't offered on a cancelled event or on something that runs for weeks, like an exhibition. Answered by link without an account? You'll see Made it? Check in with an account, and your RSVP comes with you when you sign up.
