Themes, text size, and motion

Everything about how Joinue looks and feels sits under Appearance in Settings. Each choice applies straight away and syncs to your account, so it follows you to your other devices.

Theme

Joinue is dark by default and ships a shelf of themes: Light, Dark, Legacy and Contrast are there for everyone, plus a set of designed ones (Sunset, Nightlife, Icey, Bloom, Desert, Forest, Tropical, Dark room, Nubia, Chrome, Gunmetal, Sci-fi HUD and Luxury). Every one of them is checked for readable contrast on every kind of text, so picking the one you like never costs you legibility.

Contrast is the one to reach for if you want the strongest separation between text and background.

Text size

Default, Large, or Extra large. It re-pitches the whole app rather than just zooming, so small text (captions, labels, timestamps) gains proportionally more than headlines and layouts stay intact.

Reduce motion

Turns off page transitions, reveals and other animation across the app. If your phone or computer already has a system-wide reduce-motion setting, Joinue follows that on its own; this switch is for turning it on just here.

Haptics

The small taps you feel on a phone when something commits: an RSVP, a dice roll, a posted message. Turn them off and the app goes silent to the touch without changing anything else.
