Notification settings
Choose what you hear about and where: in-app, push, or email.
Notifications are tuned per category in Notification settings: invites, RSVP activity, messages, reminders, and the rest each have their own switch, per channel (in-app, push, email, and text). Turn off what you don't want without going silent on what you do.
Push works once you've added Joinue to your phone's home screen (or in the Joinue app) and allowed notifications when prompted.
Texts are reserved for the plan-critical categories, like invites, reminders, time changes, and cancellations. Add and verify a phone number in Settings and those categories show an "Also text me" switch.
Quiet hours hold push overnight. It's off unless you turn it on, since your phone's own sleep focus already covers most of this and a lot of what we send is about tonight. Switch it on in Notification settings and pick a window: anything that arrives during it waits, then comes through together when the window ends. You can set different hours for Friday and Saturday nights.
Texts respect the same window, with one difference: a text that lands inside it is skipped rather than saved for the morning, so you don't wake up to a stack of them. The notification is still waiting in the app. Time-critical texts (a cancellation, a change of time or place) come through regardless.
For the in-the-moment version, Pause all sits just above quiet hours: hold everything for an hour, for eight hours, or until tomorrow. It lifts by itself, so a meeting or a movie doesn't cost you the rest of your week's notifications.
