Your weekly pick from your Orbit
Once a week, Joinue may tell you about the one upcoming event the most people you know are going to. A quiet week sends nothing.
Every Thursday, Joinue looks at what's coming up in the next 30 days and finds the one event the most people in your Orbit are hosting or going to. If at least two of them are in, you get one notification, "Popular in your Orbit", saying how many people you know are interested, plus when and where it is. One person isn't much of a signal, so a quiet week sends nothing at all.
What it can pick
- Only events you could open yourself. An event the host shared with their Orbit or their network is picked only if that reach includes you.
- A public event hosted by a Space goes only to that Space's active members, never to everyone else who knows somebody going.
- Never something you're already hosting or have answered (going, maybe, waitlisted, or declined).
- Never the same event twice: once you've been told about one, a later week won't bring it up again.
Turning it off
It arrives in the app and as a push, never by email or text. It's covered by the Orbit row in Notification settings ("Connections, flares, photo tags, and your weekly pick"). Its switch turns off everything on that row together, so there's no turning off the weekly pick on its own without also losing connection requests, flares, and photo tags.
