Turn a plan into an event
Once the pick is in, spin the plan up into a full event or trip. Everyone who voted comes along.
When the votes are in, an Align plan becomes the real thing in a couple of taps. In the Make it real panel, pick the winning time (add the place too, or leave it to decide later), choose the reach, and tap Create the event. Aligning on a trip instead? The same panel creates the trip.
Everyone who voted comes along, and their answer on the winning option becomes their RSVP:
- Free or Top pick: going.
- Maybe: maybe.
- Can't: not going.
- Left the winning option blank: a pending invite, so they can still answer. A guest without an account comes in as a maybe.
Guests who answered by link keep their link and the email or phone they left, so the event's reminders and updates reach them. Each person hears once, worded for how they landed. After the pick, the plan's link opens the event page, so nobody needs a new one. For a trip plan, the winning dates are written straight onto the trip, and when the crew settled several places, the first becomes the destination and the rest become the route, in order.
An event made this way goes live exactly like one made in the composer. A public event at a place Joinue knows shows up on the Explore map, and your closest people who can see it but didn't vote hear about it, the same heads-up a newly published event sends.
