What shows up in your Signals
Five things feed it: Spaces, favorited venues, followed performers, your Orbit, and your metro. Saving something never does.
Your stream is assembled from what you've already chosen to keep up with. Nothing else gets in.
- Spaces you belong to or follow: their posts, and the events they put on the calendar.
- Venues you've favorited: new Regulars (the weekly nights they run) and what they post.
- Performers you follow: their posts, and when one of their shows moves or gets cancelled.
- People in your Orbit: what they post, plus quieter activity like an open event they're going to.
- Your metro: what the Joinue desk publishes about your city, including new places added and new public Spaces.
Favorite subscribes, Save does not
This trips people up, so it's worth being blunt about. On a venue or performer page, the heart (Favorite / Follow) is the public, out-loud one, and it's what puts that page in your Signals. Save is the private bookmark: a quiet "haven't been, want to try" that lands in your saved list and nowhere else.
That split is on purpose. If saving something also signed you up for its stream, the cheap tap would stop being cheap and people would stop using it.
Stream looking empty?
Then you haven't followed much yet, which is the normal starting point. Favorite a couple of venues from Explore, join a Space, and add people to your Orbit. Your city's broadcast needs a home base, so set yours in Location settings if you haven't.
