Itinerary, stays, and costs
Day-by-day plans, lodging options, a shared ledger, and to-dos.
- Itinerary: the day-by-day plan. Add stops with times and places so everyone knows what's next.
- Stays: collect lodging options, then confirm the booking so the whole crew sees where you're staying.
- Ledger: track who paid for what. Split a cost evenly or by custom shares, or run a shared pool everyone chips into. Attach a receipt to any expense, and settling up at the end is arithmetic instead of archaeology.
- To-dos: an assignable checklist for everything before and during the trip.
- Lists: what to bring and what to buy. See Lists: packing and groceries.
- Documents: confirmations, tickets, and reservations, kept on the trip instead of buried in one person's inbox. A row can hold a file, a link (the manage-my-booking page), or both.
- Gallery: the trip's shared photo album, filled in by the whole crew.
When someone confirms a stay, the crew is notified, so bookings never hide in one person's inbox.
Adding a stop fast
The quick add row takes one typed line and pulls the structure out of it: "8p Carbone" becomes an 8pm stop called Carbone, and "10-2 Marquee" gets both ends. Anything it can't read stays in the title, so the worst case is a stop named exactly what you typed.
A stop can also carry what it costs per person, where it was booked, and the confirmation code, so "$180 each" and "conf ABC123" stop living in the notes where nothing can total them. Those three are for the crew only, and the confirmation is deliberately left off the shared plan link.
Stops with a real address land on a map of the trip, so you can see how far apart the days actually are.
