Quests: public events on the map
Quests are public events people nearby are hosting, checked by Joinue before they go on the map. Find one, or put yours there.
A Quest is a public event somebody nearby is hosting, put on the Explore map once Joinue has checked it. One held at a venue rides that venue's pin and shows under Quests here when you open the venue. One anywhere else gets a pin of its own, drawn with the event's banner.
Tap Quests in the map's quick row to see only them. On a venue's page they sit under Plans here, marked as put together by people going, not by the venue.
Going to one
A Quest you found on your own answers Going, Want to go, or Not for me. Want to go is a private save, so you can keep it in mind without landing in the host's chat. Not for me hides it from you. If the host approves who joins, Going sends them a request.
Put your event on the map
- 1Make a Public event, and turn on Put this on the map. On an event you already made, it's Put this on the map in the event's menu.
- 2If the place is a venue on Joinue, you're asked whether it's at that venue. Yes puts it on the venue's pin; No, just nearby gives it a pin of its own.
- 3Agree that you're hosting somewhere public (or have the owner's permission) and that people you don't know may come. Its address then shows to everyone, so keep private homes off the map.
- 4We aim to review it within 2 days, and you hear back either way. Approval covers every date in a series.
Changing the title, description, banner or place later takes it off the map until we look again. Withdraw a request, or Take it down once it's up, from the same menu.
