RSVP to an event

Open the event and pick Going, Maybe, or Can't go. You can change your answer later, and the host always sees the current count.

If the host lets guests bring people, set how many with Bringing guests. If the host set a capacity and the event fills up, you join the waitlist and move in automatically as spots open. You keep your place in line if you tap Going again, and Leave waitlist takes you out of it. On an event that needs approval, your answer is a request: you'll see Request sent, and you're in once the host approves. Changed your mind before then? Tap Withdraw.

Bringing kids? If the host welcomes them, a Kids coming count shows once you say Going or Maybe, separate from Bringing guests. Kids don't take a spot, and saying Can't go clears the count.

Add a note

Tap Add a note under your answer to leave a short line for the host and guests, up to 140 characters, like "Can't wait!" or "bringing the speaker". It shows to whoever can see the guest list; a note with Can't go is shown to the hosts only. Change your answer and Joinue points at your note in case it no longer fits.

Questions from the host

Some hosts ask a few things when you say Going or Maybe, like a meal choice or any dietary needs. Only the hosts see your answers, and you can change them later from Your answers on the event.

RSVP deadlines

Some hosts close replies ahead of time. Until then the event says RSVP by and the date; after, RSVPs are closed. Once they close, nobody new can say Going or Maybe. If you'd already answered Going or Maybe, you can still switch between them or drop out, but saying Can't go then is for good.

Events that run several days

On a multi-day event, each day takes its own Going, Maybe, or Can't, so you can make Saturday without committing to the whole weekend. On three days or more, Going to all answers every day still ahead in one tap. A day that's already ended keeps whatever you said. Some hosts ask for one answer that covers every day instead, like for a wedding weekend.
