Lists: packing and groceries
What the crew brings and what the house needs, on one tab: a grocery list, shared gear, named lists for part of the crew, and your own checklist.
The Lists tab holds everything the crew is keeping track of, in four buckets.
- Groceries: what the house needs once you're there. Crew-wide, so somebody who joins next week sees it without being added to anything.
- Crew gear: the shared stuff to bring from home. Anyone can add an item, anyone can claim it.
- A named list: scoped to part of the crew (a couple, a tent group, the car). Only its members see it.
- Your own checklist: private to you, and nobody else ever sees it.
Claiming an item
On a shared item, tap "I'll bring it" (or "I'll grab it" on a grocery) and your name goes on it, so the sunscreen is somebody's job rather than everybody's assumption. Tick it off when it's packed or bought.
An item can say how much. A plain count ("Camp chairs ×4") splits into claims, so four people can each take one. A measured amount in your own words ("2 lb", "a dozen", "1 gal") is one thing to grab, so it claims whole.
Anything already on your packing list stayed exactly where it was when this became the Lists tab. Nothing moved and nothing needs redoing.
