One search box finds your events, trips, Spaces, venues, Regulars, performers, and people.
The search box in the top bar searches the whole app at once. On a computer you can open it from anywhere with Cmd+K (Ctrl+K on Windows).
Results come back grouped, so you can tell a venue from an event at a glance: People, Places (venues and Regulars), Events, Spaces, Trips, and Performers.
The groups aren't in a fixed order. Whichever group best matches what you typed leads, so a friend's name puts People first even when an event title happens to contain it. Places, Spaces, Regulars, and Performers list what's near you first, then the closest matches within that.
Scopes
Search always opens on All, wherever you open it. Switch to Events or Trips inside the box to narrow to your own, with filters of their own. Your recent destinations sit there before you've typed anything, so jumping back to where you just were takes one tap.
Your metro first
Places and events come from the metro you're viewing, and the results say which one. Tap "Search all metros" to look everywhere instead. If nothing in your metro matches, search looks in the others by itself and tells you it did.
