Make your event repeat
Set a cadence and Joinue creates the run for you, one date at a time. Each date is a real event with its own RSVPs.
For the thing that happens again and again (the Sunday roast, the monthly book club, the Wednesday run), set a cadence when you create the event instead of making it over from scratch each time.
Set the cadence
In the event composer, open Repeats. It offers the repeats read off your first date: every week or every other week on that weekday, monthly on that weekday's place in the month ("the second Tuesday", or "the last Friday" when it is), or monthly on that date. Custom covers the rest: several weekdays (Tuesdays & Thursdays), every few weeks or months, or more than one week of the month (the 1st & 3rd Monday). Then choose how it ends, after a number of dates (up to a year of them) or on a day you pick, and the next few dates show underneath so you can check them.
Each date is a real event in its own right, with its own guest list, RSVPs, chat, and prep. Nobody is committed to the whole run by answering one of them. The next date is created once the current one ends, so your events list never fills up with a year of Wednesdays.
Inviting somebody to one date puts them on the run, so you invite them once and every date after that reaches them on its own. They still answer each one separately, and they can step off the run themselves without leaving the date they're on. See Invited to something that repeats.
Managing the run
On any date in a series, the manage menu splits the two things you might mean. "Edit this date" changes just that one (a one-off venue change, a week you start early). "Series settings" changes the run: the cadence, how many dates are left, the shared details, and the roster.
After you edit one date, you're asked Change every date? Pick Every date to make the rest of the series match, or Just and the date you edited (like Just Oct 14) to leave the others alone.
Under Where in Series settings, choose Same place every time, or The place changes to set a place per date, including dates that haven't been created yet.
You can end a series whenever you like. Ending it stops new dates being created and leaves the ones already out there alone, so nobody loses a night they'd already said yes to. Delete the whole series, also in Series settings, is the permanent version.
