Edit, cancel, or delete your event

Editing

Any host can edit an event from the pencil (or Edit event in the manage menu). Change the time, the place, the details, the reach, whatever you need.

Changes that matter to your guests go out on their own. A new time or a new place notifies the whole guest list, link guests included, so nobody turns up to last week's plan. See Event updates and reminders.

Cancelling

Calling it off? Cancel event tells everyone on the list, and you can add a note saying why. The event stays up, clearly marked cancelled, so anyone who opens the link later finds out what happened instead of showing up.

Cancelling is reversible. If the plan comes back on, restore it from the same menu.

Deleting

Deleting is permanent and takes the chat, the photos, and the guest list with it. It asks first, and there's no undo. If people have already answered, cancel instead: it leaves them an explanation where they'll actually look for one.
